How to Reach

Starting from Kochi, this island can be reached using ships and flights.

1. Flight

Indian Airlines offers a direct flight from Kochi to Agatti island as there is only an airstrip in Agatti available. This flight takes almost 1.5 hours to reach.

From Agatti Island boats are available to connect you to other destinations in Lakshadweep.

There is one alternate as well, a helicopter subject to availability.

2. Ships

Seven passenger ships are available. Generally, they take 14 to 18 hours depending on the choice of Island.

These ships offer:

  1. A/C First Class with two berth cabins
  2. A/C Second Class with four berth cabins and
  3. Push back/Bunk Class with A/C seating.
