Hey travelers,

I am beyond excited to share that I’ve finally decided to take the leap! On July 25th, I’ll be heading to Udaipur for my very first solo trip.

While I’ve always been an avid traveler, this will be my first time navigating a new city entirely on my own. I’m incredibly excited about the freedom, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about the logistics.

Why I’m posting:

Seeking Guidance: If any of you have been to Udaipur recently, what are those “must-do” experiences that often get missed in the mainstream travel guides?

Safety & Logistics: As a first-time solo traveler, are there any local tips regarding transportation or area-specific advice that would make my experience smoother?

Documenting the Journey: I plan to document my trip here in real-time or right after I return. My goal is to create a helpful guide for other solo travelers who might be hesitant about executing their first solo adventure. I want to show that with a bit of planning, it’s a completely rewarding experience!

I’d love to hear your thoughts, recommendations for cafes, or any “hidden gems” in the City of Lakes.
