Good luck for your upcoming travel. In mid-March, there is a transition of weather from winter to spring in Kashmir. The weather remains cold, especially on the nights, which could be way too chilly. I would suggest carrying thermals along with winter jackets to seamlessly visit areas like Gulmarg.

Take help of Google Maps or this site’s weather forecast tool for a bit of idea about weather conditions beforehand.
