These months are perfect for exploring Petra comfortably and enjoying clear skies in Wadi Rum.

A few that stand out:Oman – Super underrated! Muscat has a laid-back vibe with beautiful mosques and souks, and if you’re into nature, the wadis (natural pools), Jebel Shams (the “Grand Canyon of Oman”), and Wahiba Sands desert are stunning. Perfect for mixing adventure with relaxation.
Jordan – Of course Petra is world-famous, but Jordan is much more. Wadi Rum is like stepping onto another planet—great for jeep rides, hiking, and stargazing. The Dead Sea is another must-do experience, and Amman has a growing café culture and plenty of historic sites.
Lebanon – Despite its small size, it packs a punch. Beirut has amazing food and nightlife, while day trips can take you to the ancient ruins of Baalbek, the beautiful Jeita Grotto caves, or skiing in the mountains (yes, skiing in the Middle East!).
Qatar – Doha is developing fast, with museums like the National Museum of Qatar, the striking Museum of Islamic Art, and the Souq Waqif for traditional shopping and food. It’s smaller and calmer than Dubai but still modern and easy to explore.
Each of these places has its own charm, and they offer a much deeper look at the region’s heritage and landscapes than what you’d see just in Dubai.
